“Improv can’t be taught by AI—but it can be practiced with AI.”
Tired of wrestling with AI?
Ready to dance with it instead?
Monday • 6:00 PM PT • 90 Minutes on Zoom
Creative Professionals & Educators who want to explore AI as a collaborative partner rather than just another tool
Anyone Feeling Overwhelmed by rapid AI changes who learns best through hands-on exploration rather than technical manuals
AI Practitioners seeking fresh perspectives on human-AI interaction through creative collaboration
No prerequisites. No pressure. Just experiential learning.
This isn't a workshop—it's a creative laboratory. No slides, no lectures, no "productivity hacks."
Instead, you'll experience two complementary ways of working:
🎭 Live Improv Sessions on Zoom
We meet as a group to play improv games that build the core skills: spontaneity, collaboration, "Yes, And," creative risk-taking, and ensemble energy. This is where the magic of improv truly happens—human to human, in real time.
🤖 AI as Your Practice Partner Between Sessions
Between our live meetings, AI becomes a powerful tool for deepening your improv practice on your own time. You'll learn to work with AI using time-tested improv principles:
Treat AI Like Your Creative Partner — Move beyond "user vs. machine" to genuine one-on-one collaborative creation
Transform Your Prompts with CROW — Character • Relationship • Objective • Where. Turn basic requests into compelling, contextual conversations
Embrace Productive Mistakes — Discovery happens in experimentation—there's no "perfect prompt"
Examples of Creative "Play" to Practice Between Sessions:
Co-creating stories where you and AI build narratives together scene by scene
Brainstorming sessions that blend human intuition with AI's vast knowledge
Writing experiments like crafting songs, poems, or marketing copy as creative partners
Problem-solving improv where AI becomes your thinking partner for real challenges
Character work and improvised dialogues to sharpen your instincts
AI isn't yet ready to play group improv games with us—it struggles with the spontaneity and group dynamics that make live improv electric. But it excels as a practice partner for individual skill-building between our sessions. This hybrid approach offers the best of both worlds: human connection and creative flow in our live sessions, combined with 24/7 access to an endlessly patient improv practice partner.
Small group exploration (limited to 12 participants per session)
Interactive exercises that blend improv games with AI tools
Real-time problem-solving with your actual AI challenges
Community of practice where curiosity trumps expertise

October and November sessions are free of charge.
These pilot sessions are helping shape the course I'm developing for Stanford Continuing Studies (Spring/Summer 2026).
I'm grateful to have you as part of this creative laboratory as we discover what works best together.
While others debate whether AI is friend or foe, we're exploring: How can we collaborate beautifully?
Improvisers have spent decades mastering exactly what the AI age demands:
Building on others' ideas ("yes, and...")
Staying present with uncertainty
Creating something meaningful from nothing
Making collaborative magic happen
